New video

Another quick video.  Shows the scale of the new landscape, and a bit of fighting.  Still this is very early, much more to do with the combat system, and I will probably end up replacing most of these animations in the long run.  Still no real blood either, but there will be, don't worry.

Crap! that looks nice, specially the clash was extraordenary, just like in real life, i mean for me, it looked cool enough.

Kenshi( I always use this name)
Search my online name in Google and find something like this? I really can't wait 'til it's released. Keep up the good work!

Very cool.
You've probably thought of adding uniform colors, right?
To tell which guys belong to you.
Looks very good so far, I like the ragdolls when the person... dies? Or faints or whatever.

Perhaps just a little circle on the ground or a little glowy color thingy around their feet could provide some anti-confusion of unit allegiance.

So... how many peeps can you have on at the same time? I'm sure by now 1 of you have tried a ridiculous scaled war. And what about draw distance. Can you zoom in anywhere and see people doing their thing? Or only when your group is close enough. If I put 1 guy in every village, then could I zoom in to any city and see whats going on?

I really hate it when games cover the screen in glowing green markers, it really breaks the immersion. There will be nametags though, that you can switch on or off. The characters all look similar because I only have 2 models, so in time there will be more differences and uniforms etc.

I have no optimisation at all yet, but on my geforce 7800 I can get 50 characters fighting at 20fps. Not that good, but I will optimise.
My view distance at the moment is set to 15km and it runs smoothly. You can zoom in anywhere in the world but only within a reasonable range of one of your characters (you're not omnipotent). You won't be able to zoom out that far in the final game.
