Re: New map locations
Repently getting back to the days in which you are not able to reach the point you planned to go and barely are able to get back to your outpost. The good ol'days of getting kicked big time.

Re: why buy and play the game.
It was Kenshi and Mount and Blade lately for me, but also X3 or the early releases of PES on PS.
Thousands of hours spent there.

Copper mine in the Hive village west of The Hub: - Cats selling the copper on the village. - Eventual fighting with beak things and gorillos side by side with hivers to train your skills. - Beak things corpses provide meat so you won't be hungry. - Eventual trips to the Hut with inventory full of co...

Re: Go to main menu button
Thing is that it is NOW (during beta) when it is specially interesting. I mean that the esc menu already has the load button and a fresh start could be added upon the final release, but at this point the main interest in on using the IMPORT that I suppose will disapear in the final release. There is...

Go to main menu button
I know it's a bit stupid, but it has happen to me to receive an update, by the time I get to the main menu, I forgot it and LOAD instead of IMPORT. And then I need to exit the game and start over again. Not important, and only for stupid guys like me, but useful at times to have a "Go to main m...

Re: Sparring
I'm still preferring the "dojo" scenario, in which there is a "master" that settles the cap with his own skill level and is "master" as long as he has a dojo work. Problem is that it requires to create 2 kinds of "use" for the dojo: the "master" role...

Re: Lore issue with holy nation tech
IMHO everlasting civilizations used to find ways to dodge their own rules whenever it seems to be handy. Ancient Japanese where as anti-tech as the Holy Nation, but they used fireguns as soon as we do and even sooner (bohiya were... a non explosive rocket called "fire arrows" and were laun...

Re: The ability to sell things other than trade goods such as weapons, armor, and clothes.
Someone has pointed that one of the sources of wealth is to treasure hunt old places. I find a bit annoying to raid an old place guarded by high tech spiders to find high tech abandoned and of little use for me but... I will gain a fortune selling it to a bartender in the middle of nowhere that will...

Re: What Feature do you think needs improvement?
The first time I see that paladin pass by, he's got basic starting stats. The next time I see him, after he's been in some shite, shouldn't his stats be better? If you can survive long enough to become a beast, why can't some other starving bandit who just seems to get lucky? Imagine thinking you'r...

Re: The ability to sell things other than trade goods such as weapons, armor, and clothes.
Maybe having to pay wages to those the player recruits would help? Something to drain the influx of cats? Because soldiers shouldn't work for free, being paid for one's services is only logical. Having more manpower should come with a cost, and right now there isn't one. For instance, having to pay...

Re: Game laggs really hard midgame
Shadows used to be a big deal, but lately seemed to be amended (somehow). In my experience, nowadays quality textures, grass density and terrain quality are the most important variables given a specific draw distance. Always talking about native resolutions, of course. But believe me, these days the...

Re: Cut off Shek Horns
(...) Swampers would buy it as a hashish ingredient. (...) Now THAT is an idea. Oh, but this dynamics are simple. You just have to find what "moves" one of the factions (drugs in the case of the swampers) and give other faction the resource needed (shek horns in this case). Other plots co...

Re: Hardmode
Hmmm... just like the Wanderer start or something. Sounds great. Also an Ironman mode with no Load options and an ultrahardcore mode with all the NPC party number set to maximum (the requirements of the PC to move such a thing nowadays have to be monstruous, though). I find hard to balance the hardw...

HN would buy it as a prize or bounty.
UN would buy it as nobility jewelry.
Swampers would buy it as a hashish ingredient.
Players would buy it to make this hashish.
And so on.

Re: Training System / Sparing System
It would be lovely if the lvl to reach depends on the lvl of the Master, being this one of our guys with the permanent work on the dojo. That would make the training dummies still a thing to grow in early stages while you should use the dojo in your base (or main city) in order to reach the higher l...

Re: Make Sleep a Necessity
To me is similar to Grimmrok: Kenshi is all about exploring. And sleep mechanics are more a base management thing. I'm unable to figure an scenario in which exploring became funnier having to stop 5 times to sleep from The Hook to Leviathan Coast (to say a number). On the other hand sleeping can be ...

Re: Missing necessary UI / comfort features
Adding an "option" in the "options menu" would be nice in that case. What I'm against is to have a "mechanic" like the VATS mentioned. As a 90's gamer I remember those games in which you had to move the mouse throug every detail of the screen in order to see the pointer...
