I did actual think about a mod like this

Using the existing farms...
Instead of water, they need corpses. (like you do burn corpses and body parts in the oven).
The farms yield some random weapon and armour parts or just plain cats.

Instead of wheat you see crosses.

I noticed the dog starving while being with the rest of the squad in the outpost. There is food storage with lots of food and everyone is well fed, except for the dog.
