I still have the 0.22 installer on my pc, I tried it out for the fun. The difference is really striking.

This is some serious thread necromancy here though, it's from 2009, so take what you read with a grain of salt.

Re: I made an article about Kenshi
Well I've been sick for a while, but I wrote a rant on Simcity, and a review on it. I'm also about to finish a review on Tomb Raider. So many things to come as I no longer feel as if my stomach wants to kill me =P

I made an article about Kenshi
So I'm not much of an attention whore, I say the second I start becoming one. I love this game, and I was toying around with writing about games for a long time now. Thus I decided to start a blog yesterday, which is currently pretty shitty. I had 1 whole view, and I had to ask the person to view it...

Re: Paying respects
I thought someone died =P
But yeah one guy making a game deserves everybody respect, if not money.
I already got 3 of my mates to buy it as well, and I can't wait to review it once it's at v1.0!

how does it look like internally though, do the walls exist inside, or is it just one open space, because if that's the case you can do some interesting stuff with it.

Pressing "s" seems to bring up the stats menu. Bit irritating bug but doesn't make it unplayable.

Re: How to install the upcomming test patch
It'll most likely be an installer, like usual.
If you want to back up your previous version just make a new folder somewhere on your HDD, and copy the old kenshi folder in it, before updating.

This is why the alpha is so great, as it allows for testing whether the complexity adds something interesting, or bogs it down.

Save your game, and give it a try, I've never had anyone truly die yet.
However I assume your mercs take over if it does happen.

Depends on which artery has been hit, if it's the aorta or one of it's major branches I'd say chest.
But punctured lung vs hack off hand, I'd say you'll die quicker from the hacked off hand.

Re: Electrified banking.
In such a ruined world, would they really use their precious time on banks and paper work ? But they are still making factions, townships, trade, and they're sending out patrolling guards to defend against bandits. Having a bank is not a far cry from this, the idea of banking is centuries old, and ...

Re: how to level up
Buying medkits is a safe idea in general. What I did was roam the land in between brink, capitol, and trader's edge. It's sort of a triangle, plenty of people to fight, and plenty of patrols to help too. Three decent towns, with good trade potential, and beds. Just travelling, and trading with my gr...
