Re: Crash after some play time
Unfortunately not much can be done with a Re_Kenshi crashdump. Re_Kenshi breaks the dump generation, making virtually useless for bug reports here. Better off taking it up with Re_Kenshi's author instead if possible, or trying to reproduce the crash outside of Re_Kenshi.

Re: bug
This looks like a common mod conflict related crash. Best guess related to Genesis, as it's a highly incompatible mod, and should not be used alongside many other mods.

Re: [Partial 1.0.68] Some random crash while the game was paused
Unfortunately do not know the cause of this crash, and the dump has provided little of use to me for diagnosing it. That said, I've only seen this crash reported on Re_Kenshi versions, and only in the past couple weeks, which leads me to suspect that it's either something in Re_Kenshi crashing, or s...

Re: Game Crashes
Unfortunately the source of this crash is unknown, and has been for over a year now. It's not super frequent, but the users who experience it seem to get it a lot. All we've really got is that it seems to be rendering related, and that it is far more frequent on Nvidia GPUs, as only a single report ...

Re: Game crashes on save / quiksave
I would check your save folder for any unusual folders or files. Back up the folder, then clear out anything unusual. For example any excess "current" folders, as it seems be continuously generating more. Could be something is corrupt in there that is screwing it up. Save location: C:\User...

Re: Crash on squad assignment
First thing I'd try is not having the game paused while moving characters around and creating squads. There are certain elements that need time to pass to process correctly, and it's possible that a certain combination of events happened while paused could trigger an issue like this. Otherwise, I wo...

Re: crash game after placed storage on the roof building
Not getting this crash on my end. Can place objects on any roof as far as I can tell.
Is this a consistent issue, or does it only happen when using the Shift +F12 menu?

Re: crash game after placed storage on the roof building
Does it happen when you build anywhere else? Can you post a save of it?
I would suggest you make sure your graphics drivers are updated. I also notice you have a lot of bad zone data errors, would perhaps be worth importing your save to refresh it.

Re: Taking Dried Meat From Campfire
The error code of your crash is one frequently associated to mod conflicts. I would hazard a guess your problem is coming from there. You don't seem to have many mods, so it should not be a significant issue to test them.

Re: Problem
Looks like a corrupt mesh file. I'd go to the folder below and delete: CanyonLand_Pillar01.mesh
Then revalidate your files.
File location:
Steam\steamapps\common\Kenshi\data\newland\Assets\Rocks

Re: My First Crash
Did you try disabling all mods? Because this crash log definitely has mods on, and the error code is a common mod related crash. If it still crashes without mods you should post that dump.

Re: Kenshi/Kenshi 2 Development News
Hey there! Any updates on Kenshi 2? Has it been shelved or canceled? Or did they just drop the forum and social media stuff? Still coming, and they've even recently put out a job opening for a new publishing related position for it. So while it's still some time out, they're clearly looking towards...

Re: Random crash
I suspect it may be a corrupt file of some sort. Verifying files, or a clean reinstall, may help.

Re: Characters Not Attacking Properly
If it were me, I would suggest backing up your mods.cfg file, then disabling all mods to test if it still happens. This will determine for sure if it's a mod causing the issue, or a bug with the game.

Re: corrupted save file?
I managed to get around this by resetting squad positions and just avoiding the area of the map where it happened. But now it's happening in another area as well ... took a look at the guide again, it said to delete files in the saves zone folder until the error stops showing, but even if I delete ...

Re: Game crashes on start
For now, not much. One of the authors removed many of their mods, which is breaking saves due to the mods being missing. You can follow the updates of that collection's author here where they explain the situation more and are working on solutions: https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/dis...

Re: corrupted save file?
If it were me, I would import the save at this point. Don't have to reset buildings or anything like the guide suggests at this point, but it would refresh your world data. Ensuring things work more smoothly again.

Re: Crashing after build mode
Unfortunately that's a crash with an unknown cause. As of yet neither the devs nor any players have identified the source of that one. :( I'd suggest backuping up your mods.cfg file and testing without mods, to see if it is a mod related crash. You can also try updating your graphics drivers, as it ...

Re: Kenshi v1.0.68
Interesting. That looks like a mod with a placeholder/incomplete race that isn't even supposed to be in-game. As the default name for a new race is just "RACE".

Re: Kenshi v1.0.68
Does it not mention the race on the error message? Most of those missing content messages will mention what's missing.
A save import might clear it though.
