Have you tried importing the save? (Main menu > Import Game.) That can restore missing zones, though I think it uses default data for them.

I also note your saves were very large. In the future, it is advised to import at least somewhat regularly. As if you don't, saving takes much longer, and increases the likelihood an error like this could occur. Importing clears out a bunch of extra data that you really don't need. How big is too b...
