I've been playing a lot of Mount and Blade: Warband and I would love to see Kenshi implement the idea of a field commander (This would be the player, obviously) who can organize troops into formations. Turning off shadows corrects the problem. May I know if this means that my computer cannot handle having shadows on? Also, could it be due to something that is incomplete within the game that is causing this issue? Thank you for your help.

I am experiencing this issue as well and thought I should post it here instead of making a new post. I have tried re-installing the game but the problem persists.
