I had some unusual behavor like this, though not quite as severe. basically, if i have a weapon crafting bench up, and i send someone to run my automated steel refinery, he will head straight to the fabric loom, grab as much fabric as he can hold, then try to cram it all into the weaponcrafting benc...

you use the weapon crafting bench to use steel bars to make weapons, not the research one.

Also, i think you specifically need the weapon crafting bench 3, the 1 version uses ore and is very limited in hat it can craft. no idea if the weapon crafting bench 2 uses steel or ore.

I changed to a research bench 6 in the middle of steel bars 1 research and steel bars 2 is listed, unfortunately did not get to check if steel bars 1 was listed on a table 6 in my game. it's definitely listed on table 4 and 5, so in the meantime you could just build one of those and start the resear...

edit: previous content was entirely incorrect. this bug was totally different from what I initially thought it was. you have to do 2x the hours currently listed to complete any research. if it's 13 long, you have to go to -13 to complete. if it's 42 hours long(like level 6), you have to go to -42 to...

Same problem as the above poster, I cannot load any previous games or create any new games with any character, it immediately crashes.
