Still no surgeons...
Awhile back, the new character models and what not came in. I found that I had no surgeons in my bars, so I reset my squad position and what not. No dice. To this day, all my character are randomized sods, and no matter how much resetting I do, I cannot get a surgeon anywhere for that save. With the...

If the bar entirely red and you're still in negative, congratulations, you died.

I find it more disconcerting that not a single trader is wearing pants.
I know sometimes you just gotta show off those legs (carrying those backpacks full of heavy objects gives you magnificent thighs, after all) but it's kinda silly.

Re: A few Questions
1) THey do not respawn. So yes, you could, theoretically, end up being in a situation of absolute solo. But do keep in mind we're not even looking at being finished right now. Alternate, and more, way of hiring people will probably pop up. 2) Well, if you break your arm you can't exactly with that b...

Well idk much about choosing one of those already started games.. but if ur an enemy to the romans then you lose a lot of areas.. I wud suggest going default or one of the other ones because when your a noobie all u do is get killed by bandits and run to the nearest town lol... the romans control a...

If I remember correctly, Chris himself confirmed that temporarily lowering a skill via backpack will speed up the gain rate.
Re: Ramp's
There's a ramp-like thing outside of Catan if I remember correctly.
However no one uses it. Everyone I've seen kinda just walk along side it...
Pathing will need to be redone, but yeah.
I want ramps.

Re: Guns in Post-Apocalyptia
Honestly, the reason we reacted poorly was because you didn't bring anything particularly new to the table. I was, at first, enthused to read what you had to type, but then lost that enthusiasm when I realized you're serious about the "Post-Apocalyptia" setting. There is not a set setting....

Re: Strength/Dexterity/Weapon skill
Dexterity, Strength, and weapon skill grow based on how much you use them, much like the other skills. Obviously, the more you use a weapon type, the better you get with that weapon, regardless of enemy stats. In combat gains for strength and dexterity are also based on the weapon type. You gain ver...

Unlike many other games I've seen lately, functionality is coming first, pretty things go last.

Re: Spontaneous Weapon Generation
A plank? That's an odd weapon, since I don't know of any enemies that spawn with one.
Did you accidentally drop one at some point? Because that's the only explanation I can think of, if you didn't have one in a weapon stand or something similar.

You currently cannot take over a town, at all.
Throwing them into a locked house, taking their weapons, ect. yes.
But actually owning the whole town? No. You can buy some buildings and kill everyone, though.

Oooh, my biggest irk is the "breaks immersion/not in the theme" thing. I mean, as the person above me said, Samurai Jack. The Scotsman has a machine gun for a leg and still primarily uses his Claymore. Also, look in the item trader shop. There are robotic parts. We have automated mines and...

As far as I know, there is no current way to sell purchased buildings.
And we're not sure, but we've mostly come to the conclusion that it is not a post-apocalyptic world.
