Other than it being the update method if you bought it there, Desura doesn't have anything to do with wyUpdate. The problems seems to be the update server at www.kenshiupdate.com, which has never failed for me before this update. It seems like there would have been some sort of announcement if steam...

I've never needed to mess with the Steam activation, is that what we have to do now?
