So kenshi updated to 0.44 and Chris recommended that i import my squad to a new game. I did that but my town from the old save was still there O_o only with a few missing buildings. Now here comes the weird part, apparently the people from eye socket (I assume that it was the closest city) has claim...

hmmm... My Kenshi only crashes on start up when i am hitting the esc key. If you are hitting the esc key then don't. that might solve the problem
