Walk-through land

Version: 0.26.3 Description: There is land near Skinner's Row that can be passed through waist deep. Was ambushed by starving bandits this way. Was cool, but at the same time, a little frustrating from the sudden appearance of enemies. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to Skinner's Row. 2. Move down hill be...

Broken Splint Kits (0.26.3)

Version: 0.26.3 Description: When giving first aid, splint kits will not work as intended and leave people medicing forever doing nothing, until you make them do a new action. Its a great way to train that medic skill though to infinity. Steps to reproduce: 1. Get a Splint Kit (I have specifically a...

Re: Heya, mates.

Hello and welcome to the forums -- Obviously its only quiet because we don't repeat stuff here usually, though next update, expect the forums to have a burst of activity! They usually spark up that way. Or, you could try working on a mod for the game. In anycase, glad to have another one with us.

Re: Game survey

I'm a bit late to this, but I figure I should at least state that most of my money is made through trading as well -- Its effortless, and by myself running about the world for about 3 hours, I amassed approx. 150k cats thanks to a medium trader's backpack, and constantly running. Fatigue, weight lim...

Re: Unable to use backup save file

After looking, it turns out, I do not. I'm not sure how I managed to do that...

If its unrecoverable, its alright -- Sucks, but I can start over I suppose. Thank you for such rapid response though!

Here you go -- Checked it myself, if this comes up blank on your end, then I'll just be confused.

Re: Unable to use backup save file

Oh, that is weird. The Nameless file in the current folder still has the squad, but the quicksave -is- completely blanked out. I used Notepad++ to view the file, both Nameless files in the quicksave folder and the current folder. Its been some time since I last loaded up Kenshi, so I don't know if I...

Unable to use backup save file

I'm having difficulty trying to restore a save file I've had on Kenshi which has the most progress for me. I had split my party up into two separate groups that were spread over a large distance when I last saved (admittedly, this is still a rather old save file -- Haven't played recently at all). I...

Re: Are you working on this fulltime?

Woah now, no need for that hostility! He's merely stating an opinion, which is a valid and understandable opinion -- If development on the gameplay aspect lacks currently, then that is what is lacking to him. I personally have stopped playing myself due to relatively few things to do ingame, but tha...

Oh, the games you play...

I figured in an off-topic post, would be a great place to post up the games we all play that is not related to Kenshi in anyway! There are a -mass- of games out there, and learning about a new game is always fun in my eyes. I could start with something simple and more mainstream: I am currently play...

Re: Quick mod guide

Got a quick question that I hope might be answered here: Where does one go to put new anims into the mod? I'm trying to mess with the combat techniques and animations, but I can't find where any of the bits link to the source animation itself.

Re: Are you working on this fulltime?

Its good that you stood up to say that! I was wondering if it was the majority of the forum, or just one or two people! As for those comments... Relax =P That is their opinion, and you should at worst, let them know that he is still working on it and leave it at that. I personally believe the progre...

Re: Are you working on this fulltime?

The only thing that worries me if how there has been a stated update, but the time allotted for it to come around has passed -- At least, just about today, it has. Two weeks, but no update like specified. Hopefully there will be a message telling us what's going on. I'm not worried about dropping th...

Re: Dual wielding

Shields are great, but the setting being of an overwhelmingly Japanese (or at the very least widely oriental) bent, I would shy away from them simply out of a desire to maintain the aesthetic of traditional katana form, which does not incorporate a shield. This is why I said I will wait till someon...

Re: Dual wielding

Allow me to help Blxz: CG = Chaotic Good LE = Lawful Evil In Dungeons and Dragons (before 4th edition -- I don't know if it exists in 4th!), there is an alignment system that is basically divided in two ways -- Lawful/Chaotic, and Good/Evil (with neutral being in the middle obviously). This makes th...

Fast Draining Splint Kits

Splint Kits have priority on first aiding a person fully bandaged when others around are hurt. By clicking the medic button, the medic will tend to a single person until they are fully bandaged and splinted, but will continue to stay on that person using a charge to splint every singular point that ...

Leather Headwrap as armor

Currently, the item Leather Headwrap works as an armor piece and not a hat piece. Some fun with stacking two hats, but is needed to be changed to a hat item.

Re: Sword Styles (And other oddities)

No no -- One major point of the game is that you -aren't- special; Hence, 'unique' animations for yourself over your henchmen is something I am much more against than anything. The concept is that by training in a certain style of sword fighting, one can gain certain advantages and disadvantages in ...

Sword Styles (And other oddities)

Hello! First off, let me say I'm a first time poster here, but a rather long time lurker (I've been watching the forums for some time before the game even released its alpha build), so I've been very quiet about talking and stuff. Secondly, I want to say thanks to Chris for so far doing quite amazin...
