Re: Content Update V0.70.0
I'm not getting them in a .zip file, so i pack them myself. will that be an issue? Also, can we get a thread where we can just say the funny things that we encounter? Like, i got locked in a trader's shop after he fail'd to kick me out. When i want to do business he promptly sais " how did you ...

Re: I crash when I get near to a city.
[V 0.70] Similar bug here, crashed when city started to load when i got within range of the city to load up i assume. Was being chased by one dust bandit, he stalled each time he was about to attack but always kept close. If i'm not mistaken i was approaching Trader's edge from the south side. Edit...

Re: The website is dead, long live the website!
Anyone else having troubles getting to the main page? I'm gonna assume it is people refreshing for news about the update. It was down for me as well for quite some time, i'd say a couple hours, but it then randomly came on by itself. No sign on the update just yet, still waiting on the 3GB unpack u...

Re: The website is dead, long live the website!
I preferred the old site design too, much tighter. I've seen many sites switching to this kind of "huge buttons, large text, lots of wasted space" style, a bit windows 8-like imho. Last one to fall to the trend is Paypal, they went from a nice professional-looking site to something kiddie...

Re: "The Un-Fixable Menace"
What time? Got the day off and everything. Before anyone jumps down my throat I'm only messing with you and I know it will be out when it is out... But I do have the day off to the twitterfeed el-friendo! ETA: a few hours. There's no going back now, the update has hit the matrix and is slowly uploa...

Re: The website is dead, long live the website!
I'm gonna echo Mattk50 on this one, but rest assured, both of us have the best of intentions! It's probably a cultural thing, but in NA the "it now" can seem a bit much. People fiend over obvious clarity, therefore the "Download it now" could be rephrased as "Download free D...

Re: Poll: Animals in your squad
I think direct control would be a bit harder to make so it doesn't feel too weird controlling creatures instead of the human characters you're used to. I mean it in a sense that it will change gameplay quite a bit, imho i don't know if it's for the best. Not having direct control over the creatures ...

Re: Lore surrounding Catan/Capan credits?
As the title suggests, is there any set in stone lore about Cats? So far none of the lore is set in stone, and as a matter of fact there isn't much. The only thing i've heard for certain is that the Kenshi universe is not necessarily in our own. This means that the world of Kenshi may or may not be...

Re: Concerned and need reassuring with progress
Chris has expressed a determination to finish this game come hell or high water, but i just hope he hasn't overextended Lo-Fi games too much. I've seen it happen many times, a game developer expands too fast due to business inexperience then can't support itself and crashes back down, bringing the ...
Re: Sales
Chances are the upcoming update will resolve this issue. Currently the "Your own Shop" system is broken and does not respond correctly in 99% of the cases. My strategy involves loading up one character with a large trader backpack and have them go sell stuff in towns. You make decent money...

Re: Massive memory usage
Like the others said, the game right now has some errors that make certain bits of code go haywire, but many of these issues such as the RAM overload should be resolved with the new update, which as of right now still has no ETA. Statistically speaking it should make an appearance around the Christm...
