Re: Infection

Posions sounds like a good idea, but when it comes to diseases I would rather think that they should 1) strike randomly, possibly through contact with other sick individuals in towns. Though I imagine that it would be quite hard to balance and it would also be a pain for the player. 2) be a result ...

Re: Infection

Keep in mind that you're not downing mugs of the stuff, you're using it like you would use hydrogen peroxide. (Unless you think drinking that is a good idea. A side note: it's not). I believe alcohol does get absorbed through the skin (and through your tongue and the flesh in your mouth, what fun) ...

Considering that it's a desert wasteland, it's safe to assume that Oasis would be around. And wells. And farms (How else would people live?)

Re: Bombs

When it says "Turrets" It's referring to crossbow/ballista and harpoon turrets. There could probably be mechanical weapons, like a repeating or self-loading crossbow or some sort, but I don't think early gunpowder weapons or canons are going to come into play. Oh...well that makes more se...

Re: Animals

animals and *CENSORED* need models, animations, new code, and then to fit into the combat system. Its a big job and far down my list at the moment. Completely understandable. As the guy above me said, hunting animals (maybe near an oasis?) for food and furs for profit would be nice. Raising livesto...

Re: Infection

Yes but are any of them actually fun? what would it entail? Just having a tetanus jab after every battle? No, there would be a chance, and usually only with rusty weapons, that you could become infected with a variety of disease, ranging from Tetanus, which would require medical attention, to somet...

Infection

So, you just got hit with a rusted piece of junk, and nothing happens? Not so fast there lad! You just got thrown into the Infection game! Now, do you get tetanus or some other kind of disease, or maybe nothing at all? The possibilities and variables are endless, and you'll only know after time.

Bombs

I noticed that there was a "Turrets" skill in the skill box, so I thought "Guns" which made me think "Gunpowder" and that led to bombs. Mining was an idea for the game, so mine up some Saltpeter, Sulfur, and make some Charcoal, and some random variables, and you could b...

Animals

I was wondering if you could add some animals to the game. Maybe some camels, horses, oxen for transport or a dog for defense. Just a simple idea.
