A question on Strength

in the character info panel, what does the % mean next to strength, in parenthesis?

The increase above normal gain rate. If you're not carrying anything heavy, you're not going to gain very much strength, or rather it will take a very long time for Strength to increase. If you're carrying 200kg you will cap out that % and your strength will go up much faster.

So, hypothetically speaking, if the base time to increase strength is 8 hours, and I'm carrying a load that is listed as 50%, then it would increase in 4 hours, or has a chance to increase in 4?
