I've updated to the newest kenshi, after having not played for a while. After some gameplay, I've got a labor camp going with a well, stone processor, stone mine, small farm, and ofc a small research bench. All is going well, except one thing. Muscle. Now, is there an easier way to recruit people than sending parties to towns and hoping there'll be people wanting to join? I'm lucky the place I put my base is quite out of the way and rarely gets bandits.
Also, no one is coming to buy stuff from my shop counter. My base is set on public and it has building materiel and wheat straw.

there is no current easier way to recruit.
for pictures, you can upload attachment 2 megs max, its right below where it says save draft,preview.submit.
or store it on a offsite storage area.

known items that sell in player created stores.. ( For now )
Rum
Bread
textiles
Med Kits ( All sizes )
In all my game play i have never seen them buy anything else.
but also trading is bugged so it dont always work as we hope.

Shouldn't be a problem. I'm selling wheat and building materiel though, so thats probably why.Tolwrath wrote:also note: the further you are away from other towns, the longer it'll take between each trader visit, and also the longer it'll take before traders start coming to your town.
My base is really close to two towns, between them, and I have an outpost as a close neighbor.

i had Wheat on one of shop counters - they bought itHatsune_Neko wrote:known items that sell in player created stores.. ( For now )

the nonfunctional version of this was actually in early versions of the game. Wasnt implemented, but buildings in several of the towns with NPCs talking about mass recruitment options and such existed. They are likely slated for proper implementation at some point.Danzigsam wrote:There's a pretty good "recruitment office" idea over in Feature Requests.
