Im noticing the doors on some shops are not always closing when the shop closes....after a bit of testing to see why i got attacked for walking into a shop whose door was open,it turned out the shop door was open,but the shop was closed.....

Yep, this sucks. Maybe if the door has been left open they politely shoo you away at first, instead of straight out attaching you when it's 23:00 and they forgot to close the door.

Yeah this happens a lot. I always quick save my game before I send someone inside to see if the place is open. If there is no one behind the desk I try and run back out before the guards start calling me a thief.

A little open sign next to the door linked to the status of the shop would be nice.

Click on the door and it will tell you if it's 'Private' = closed or 'Public' = open.

Seems like plenty of indication to me.

And that would be fine,except it doesn't work as you think.

Just now,clicked on the door,its 5.55 am,shop should be closed....doors open one guy inside,door click shows door is unlocked,open and public....but turns out the shop is closed,and i am attacked by the guys inside soon as he sees me.

Well you could just look at the clock.

Shops open around 8-9 am.

and close at 8-9 pm.

or 09:00
and 21:00. (though i think closingi s closer to 20:00. i haven't played for awhile) the shops always open and close at the same time assuming the keeper hasn't been killed.

Either way if its after 21:00 its fair to say the shops closed. if its before 8am the same thing.

That doesnt remove the bar next to the armorer,where the bar is always open,and the armorer closes...and you think you ordered your men into the bar,only to have them walk into the armorer shop whos door is open ,while the shop is closed.
