How to replace a missing limb?

I apologize for this silly question but I haven´t found an answer in the forum, in the wikia or in the F1-help ingame:

My armorsmith Hobbs has lost his left arm and now I found a trader to buy an artificial arm for him. But I have no idea how to install the new limb? I have a doctor with medical-skill 55 but I don´t find an option to replace the missing limb? I exchanged the limb from medical to patient and back, put the patient into a bed, did rightklicks on any part but... nothing!

Please tell me how to replace the missing limb. Do I need a special technology in advance?

Its in your inventory screen. Just open and right click on artificial limb or drag and drop to right place.
