New to Kenshi; My Questions

I remember hearing about this along time ago, and I'm glad to see that it has finally been released. I have a few questions that a few days of playing and digging among threads in the forum havn't resolved:

1) What is the heaviest armor, and where do I get it? All that I have been able to find so far is a set of medium armor made by rags co that reduces damage by .7 which costs 8000. The best leggings cost roughly 6000 and reduce damage by .56. The best shirt is blackened chainmail, and apparantly our dev is not a fan of helmets, as there are none. Only hats, and stupid chain wraps that are a head injury waiting to happen IRL. Is this the best in-game so far?

2) Is there an easy way, or anyway to change my characters names and the name of my klan/warband/posse ? What about editing skills like athleticism?

3) How far down the road can we expect women in-game? <_<

4) Is this really just an elaborate pirates vs. ninjas simulator? >_>

5) Are there any other 'bad guys' beyond starving bandits, dust bandits, and sand ninjas (dudes in black).

1- You've seen the heaviest. For more armour, variety, helmets etc will have to wait until I get the money for an artist.

2 - Not yet, but it will be added.

3 - Same as number 1, when I get an artist.

4 - At this stage, its only a shadow of what its going to be.

5 - For now, again I will add much more over time. For more fun you can declare war on a big faction like the Holy paladins.
