Lo-Fi Games

I'm sure I'm not the only person. Who else spends most of the game on triple speed? I think the only time I put it to regular speed is during combat.

I only increase speed when waiting for things at my base, increasing speed when traveling ends up in lag and the game pausing itself anyway. Probably because I do not tolerate anyone going slower than 15.

Swimming is something I try to avoid, but when my squad is waiting for that one Shek warrior that is trying not to drown in a puddle speeding up is the only way to retain sanity.

I'll travel with 3X speed on but I'll leave my camera on someone who isn't traveling and I'll just watch their progress on the map. I built my base around a small lake east of Bad Teeth and will get my whole combat squad together to just swim from one side to the other. Mainly so they can all stay in a somewhat tight group when I have them travel long distances.

i play with it on normal i don't see a reason to speed time up given crops grow even if multiple days don't pass. i prefer the current pace it gives plenty of time to do stuff.
