So, I'm in town, and there is a sudden invasion of dogs. That's fine, I beat them up, but then....things, start to get weird. I have no idea why, but suddenly the town starts tearing itself apart. Picture included, and my PC is nowhere near. So, is it a bug, glitch, or just a strange feature?

If you're using the Paradise Slavers mod. the NPC probably tried to enslave a downed character which intitiated a chain event of attacking people which turned into a mob brawl.

I don't have that one, no. It was the Holy Nation guards against Drifters. And this was city wide. The bars were full of the brawling as well as the fight here.

Have not seen this in a while. Used to be that someone accidentally hit someone else during the fight and that started all the bad feelings.
Usually it's cause something unforeseen happened between the two factions during the fight.
might be that the wildlife were neutral to the HN and the drifters started to fight them the HN guards saw it as a case of disturbing the piece.
But it's not typical behavior outside of swamp towns. (anymore).

characters in this game cant accidentily hit other characters, they already need to be hostile to eachother.
Unless someone was using a harpoon gun. those can hit other characters, though it doesnt turn them aggressive, jsut damages relations.
