Can bandits go extinct?
My first save involved me running from one corner of the map to the other, killing any bandits I found. When I went back home, the landscape was completely void of any black specs in the distance. Is there a finite number of bandits? Because they came back after importing (obviously).
Oh no, you shouldn't have done that!
Actually, I don't think it matters. They will stand up when they recover, plus I think new groups can spawn. Might just be bad luck for you. If it is a lingering problem though you can just import your squad into a new game and see if that makes things better for you.

No that should not happen, are you sure it wasn't just by chance that you didn't run into any more?

Did you run from corner to corner (along the map border) or just a random pattern?

Sorry, I forgot to check back. It just seems that the baddies are just really thin from time to time. I went all the way from brink down to skinner's roam and back. And the bandits were gone! But this is now in an earlier version of the game, and I'm probably necroposting. Sorry if i'm breaking rules.
