Hey guys,
Newbie here, where do you build your bases, and where do you think is safest/best place to build one, i just build one in the mountains , spot is amazing but i keep getting raided by cannibals and holy servents, also sometimes some preasts come and try taking away my dog and my foreign friend which is realy annoying .Worth fighting tho, the spot is amazing.

Safe spot is nerby The Hub. But it was so boring so i abandoned it
Now im looking for some more 'entertaining' location.

build on holy lands, youll get non stop action there if not cannibals or bandits, holy nation will keep you entertained

Oh, since you already have experience in builting within Holy Borders, i have no option for safest then That spot north-north-west from the Hub and north-west from the rebel base, right over the hill from it is quite safe, if you don't mind dusties passing by now and then. There's also couple of crators a little south from Okran's arm, not far from the ancient bridge across the river. Spots are by the road, but seem pretty safe.

As for the best, it's really up for everyone to decide on their own. I like to have something safe, so i'm in the Orkan's Pride, friending with holies. Iron trail would be rich with resources i bet, and action can be found anywhere, you just have to know whose porridge to relieve yourself in

Oh, but why? Its locals are some the most charming individuals on the whole island. And their language is so rich and expressive...

I have once built base near a Beak Thing appearing. It was dangerous to build up and go out, but after that they worked as a whimsical security guard.

I thought it was as planned, but it was miscalculation that they would dispose of not only dead bodies but items as well.

I found the easiest location to be the leviathan coast.

The hardest part is getting there, not because of cannibals, but beak things so i recommend you hire bodyguards for distractions. Once there simply let the leviathans kill any beak things in your area, and then just build, you have lots of iron and copper as well as good fertility. only trouble i ever had was river raptors trying to break through my gate, creating a funnel of walls and putting crossbows seemed to do the trick. I had no raids only hive merchants. Got a bit boring though after a while, but i would recommend it for new players
