yes i know you can split up the faction you have currently.
But one day will you (Chris) allow multiple groups roaming like AI Factions .
If so how will it work maybe make a manger/chief that controls movement
have a trading route planned out or patrol path.

not sure if anyone else know but this would be the best idea so hypothetically you could have over a 1000men roaming the map training looting or causing havoc.

Please let me know what you have heard or Chris please spare some time to speak your wisdom

You mean like managing hole faction from up like age of empires?

I think he's asking along the lines of semi-automation of troops, like, select a dozen guys and tell them to trade between two cities, select another dozen guys and tell them to patrol the wasteland, etc, fire and forget. That way when you're running your own faction of 500 guys you don't HAVE to micromanage each guy.

I would definitely like to see a method to eventually set guards up to defend your town. I'm assuming this will be the case since buildings will be used for trade. I highly doubt he wants you to just stand there and wait for people to walk by and purchase things.

Yeah that would be nice. I already have 10 mens and it start to be hard when 1 guy is wounded and cant really fight.

plus, the distance we can give the move order is too short if you have a big view distance set in your option.

yes this is planned, if you look at the map in the game you will see the squads tab which will probobly give you exactly what you are asking about

sounds great i like it micro managing is a bit hard when you have an army or two. so it would be nice to make squads and eventually have them semi automatic. for example protection of your base or allied towns. And guarding your caravan as it crosses the vast nation of kenshi.

what ever sounds so cool if this is gonna happen i am sure chris will do a great job
