Getting rid of unwanted party members?

I've looked around and can't really find the best way of this. Characters lie for a long time or even recover without first aid and just clutter up the GUI.
Is there a way of killing off a character so they disappear completely? I started out with one very strong character and went to a group, but want to go back to soloing without the group lying around. Any suggestions other than just keeping the group but idle in some town somewhere?

Lmao, I'm killing off three members right now, just waiting for em to die, get the characters you want to die and send them far away from the group and then attack the empire or someone who will dominate you, then go afk with your main characters, if you go on 4x it should go ok, but make sure the chest or head are going down.

Thank you!
Just seem like half the time they degrade and half the time they improve. Is that to do with blood levels?
If you fall below 0 blood you slowly die and if you are above 0 blood you slowly recover?

Well, the characters I killed regained their blood but their body parts kept going down, if it doesn't work the first time, rebandage them to full health and just repeat it, it'll work eventually.

As people bleed their blood level drops, if the blood level every reaches -75 they die. If blood level reaches 0, or head, chest, gut reaches 0 they are incapacitated...during this they will still bleed. Reaching -75 blood is the only way to die, there is no insta-death.
Edit: Bah it sounds like a -99 in a vital body part will kill you, and it has grown more complicated since the last time I played in detail.

You can die from your head, chest or stomach dropping below -100.

What's odd is after being mortally wounded, a character can regain all of their normal Blood, yet have a body part degrade to -100, which doesn't make any sense to me
