How to restore a save?

So I was playing, and was doing pretty damn good, in my standards. This was my third save considering my first two I got butt raped by starving bandits when I just started.

After I learn how to play, I made a solid 60k, 16 members all around 10-30 in stat and made myself a couple buildings as a "Headquarters." I even got my main character (Strongest one) the Plank that cost 31,000 cats and he had twice as much strength as the second strongest at 54. But then.. I went to take a shower and realize my cousin started a new game and saved over my save.

*Question*: Is there any way I can revert it? Or like mess around with the modding thing to give me my team back with their stats from before? I'm good with the lost items seeing as I can always go get them again. But I don't really want to spend another 15+ hours just to train my team all over again.

Alternate Solution: If there isn't any possible way. Can anyone tell me the fastest way to train my team?

Although, and forgive me if this has changed. I believe chris had some bug hunting feature around that kept your last 5 saves (although you only load from the most recent.

IF this still exists and IF your cousin has saved fewer than 5 times you may be able to extract the relevant save and overwrite the one that is normally being read so you can get it back.

It does still save the last 5, it seems. You can recover them if he hasnt saved more than 5 times, check your kenshi save folder and go for quicksave2.

Also, after a bad experience with a cousin formatting my entire god damn computer i've always made sure i leave the thing locked. its not too late for you.

I felt happy for a second, only to get in an extremely frustrated mood. Turns out my cousin SPAMMED the button or something, all the saves are his character inside the city at the exact same spot. Well I'm sad.

I'm just going to start a new game, went on Forgotten Construction thing to mod it and set my character abilities starting at 10, and I increased the amount of spawn per area so I can train faster that way. May not be what I had before, but it's better than nothing I guess. Thanks again to the both of ya. I'll keep that in mind.

Now, I think it's time to visit my cousin..
