The stay command will be back soon enough (in a different way maybe).

For now, use the "blocks only" command, that will make your character stay in most cases.

You should always proofread carefully to make sure you didn't any words out.

The Stay command and Near command were a little glitchy. Sometimes they would cause your characters to run away from combat with the "life preservation" or whatever character goal for no reason, until you hit far again. Perhaps that is the reason it was disabled? Either that, or there is something to do with the new AI and pathing routines being introduced for walls.
