Can't perform First Aid HELP!?

So I just acquired this game today and I have to say I love it. Now I have run into this problem and cant seem to solve it. My characters are wounded/Injured I have bought med kits but still cant seem to perform First Aid I currently have one guy lying out in the middle of the desert probablly in agonizing pain and I cant heal him please someone tell me what Im doing wrong Ive clicked the medic button (my character's medic skills are at 5) and I've also used the drop down menu but nothing.

Seems strange, this may sound stupid but : Are you sure he's not been bandaged already? (if there is no red color in the health bar, then he's got no injury you can bandage)

Make sure you're using the proper bandage. It should be a white color. If it's brown and says 'splint kit' or something along those lines, you're using the wrong thing.

Well what u also could try it to put another character on bodygaurd to the wounded character this way he should heal em automaticaly if wounded.
