Kenshi has a bit of a learning curve, but once you get a handle on some of the more basic ideas it can be quite rewarding and well worth the effort.

You should read guides and go out and explore the world. There's really no goal in Kenshi but endless possibilities awaiting you

There is a goal, but you not told by the game what is, you choose your own goal.
Can say you choose your destiny instead of having it set like regular xD.
