how do you loot the money off of a corpse?

You don't.

so is that just something that has not been put in yet?

You take the items from the corpse and sell it in town. You cannot take money from corpse because money is attached to a faction, not to a character.

You can also hunt bounties, just take the inanimate body (preferably still alive and patched up for the full reward) and bring him to Brink or Catan to the police office, talk to the policeman, or just put the dude in a cell, and you'll get the money from the bounty.

Maybe later in an update we'll have to deal with money as an item, and not only a value attached to your faction, that you should get from a point to another in order to buy an item, but I don't know about that.

What I have noticed yet is that every damn faction is penyless, when you click on a guy, it shows his faction, and when you click on the faction tab, it appears that the faction has no money.

Shhhhhhh don't tell them, they're being told their paychecks are being sent by mail.
