Disbanding your crew?

Hey guys,
So I just bought this game and tried it out as the concept of it seemed interesting and now I'm hooked on it! Over my long 3 day weekend I managed to log 40 hours (left it on overnight for all my research to finish) and I don't intend on stopping there =D! Anyways back to the topic, I've got everything researched and now I just want to make a squad of all badass warriors BUT I may have hired some engineers and medics. Will I need to restart my game or is there a way of kicking unwanted members from your squad? I've tried sending them to their deaths but some of them just don't want to die. Anyone have any ideas on getting rid of those unwanted members?
Thanks in advance to anyone who helps!

There's nothing stopping your engineers and medics from becoming skilled fighters, in fact a squad without medics will not be as capable as one that is well rounded. Are you certain you've researched everything? I mean, just leaving it on overnight won't build/upgrade a tier 2 research bench, queue up the tier 2 research, upgrade the bench, build a house to hold a tier 4 bench, clear all tier 4 research etc.

A 700 can do everything a 2500 can do, you just need to train them a little longer.
If you want a kickass squad of fighters, just keep fighting. you can train on dummies upto 15, after that send all your weaklings into every fight you can (just keep some medics nearby).
if you really want to kill your guys, you need to get them to bleed lots.
each hit you take makes you bleed more and more. In other words, Going into a fight right after you have been healed wont kill you because you will collapse before you can bleed out. But this is a good way to make your guys either good fighters or not exist.
Make sure you upgrade your armour. If you really want to train some fighters, Armour will keep your guys alive alot longer and increase there skills more.
Dont buy armour tho, just steal it from people on the ground. they will be doing the same to you later on

Well, in an upcoming patch faction members will notice you wearing their uniforms, and may have some questions as to how you acquired them. For the time being though, it's a fairly safe bet.

I know your referring to them talking with ther swords, but is there anything planed for the future where they try to talk to you before they kill you. perhaps avoid a fight if you give them back the armour and some compensation
Also with them able to notice what belonged to them, are we also able to create custom faction uniforms in the future. If so, is that only for armour/clothes or would it also be for buildings and weapons to.

Yeah I have maxed the research. I think it went up to level 6 and afterwards it was all just weapon smithing upgrades. I decided to just start a new game with the Holy Sword beginning and build it up from there. I've hired a few 1 stat guys and sent them to 1 sides battles as apparently they get more exp/stats when they lose compared to when they win. My current plan is to get them to decent stats, weakest members having at least 30 to all stats, then rebuilding my town in the wide northern areas as they seem to be mostly Dead Cat towns.

makes sense.
knocked down once, you try and learn faster about not having it happen again.
