I have to say I've had a lot of fun with this game so far. I started off with the caravan story and quickly built myself a base next to a city, repelling various attacks whilst researching and building all sorts.

After one disastrous attack my main scientific researcher bought it (died) and everyone else unconscious, save for one last man... Yep, you guessed it!

Old Soldier.

So he ran away, for a hundred days or so, training, running, accompanying traders for free and tagging along with samurai and holy paladin, until he finally (by my will of course, and a mouse click) returned to the original base and revived the rest of his team who had been lying in the sand for just under a year.

They quickly retreated to the city where they rested, and the two best fighters joined with the Old Soldier to embark on more adventures.

The combat prowess of my Old Soldier is evident as his high-stat topper moves swiftly against the enemy, barely giving them a chance to fight back. His reflexes astound me as he blocks multiple attacks, until he realised the wisdom of Sun Tzu and runs away to fight another day... Not a problem for such an athletic oldie running at speeds well over 100.

The assassin rags he is clad in give superior combat skills, and the sandals give the speed required to make a wise getaway. His iron hat looks straw-like, but it's armour does its job whilst keeping him weightless in nature. Samurai pants and leather shirt also aid him in taking on sand ninjas and emerging the victor!

Hope you liked the story so far, much more has happened but I write what I remember clearly in my head. I have very high hopes for this game and look forward to the finished product.
