Lo-Fi Games

So I've a game where I've been running solo with a guy for a good long while and made the mistake of saving after my character was injured.

He's currently passed out on the ground and his stomach wound healed all the way to -1 before stopping and now he wont heal any further.


Is my save ruined and do i need to restart or is this a bug and there is a work around for it?

Injuries will only heal to a certain point without a medic kit or bed rest. You'll need one of those to heal fully.

Yea I'm stuffed then.

My character is knocked out and he's the only character I have. He can't med kit himself.

So there is no way to recover with out that? He will be stuck on -1 Stomach hp until i make a new game?

if it no longer heals then yep time to reload old save or restart

Im not positive but I believe the game creates a back-up save when you save so you might be able to find that and get your previous save file back.

If there is stun damage left (black bar) he will recover. If there is only red damage, he will continue to worsen until he dies. Unless a friendly faction wanders by and heals you, you are dead. Game over.

Maybe you could choose Import Game from the main menu and have it reset your position? Worth a shot.

Matt is correct, he shouldn't just be stuck. I went and got my guys beat up just to be sure something hasn't changed and that held true through multiple beatings, and a death.

He's either getting worse or getting better. The thing to monitor is blood. if his blood has leaked out to a negative of what his normal blood rating is (I'm assuming, my death was a 75 blood character who died at -75) then he's dead, you're done. Blood clots over time, slowing the rate of loss, but if you lose too much...

If he is in fact stuck, that save may be gold for the bug forum.

Am I missing something? I've never had a guy just stop healing.
