hey guys, is it just me or the enemies won't destroy your gate if they don't see you inside, in one of my games, i build a large outpost, the buildings are practically far from the walls, far enough for the enemy to just walk past it
i think the enemies only attack gates as they see it as obstruction between your people (their target) and them only if they saw your people,
i tried building 2 gates, like Gadzoo mentioned, but they'll keep coming if they saw my units from outside the wall..
so i build an extra large fort, with 2 walls, the inner walls and outer walls, the outer walls usually block the entrance to my area.. i build in the mountainous area between Traders Edge, Port South, and the trader outpost south of catan.. it's the valley between those three... i build the outer walls next to the entrance of the valley,
for the gates, i do hope that in the future it would be impossible for the bandits to destroy it without any equipment, let's say among 10 bandits that spawn, 1 is boss, 7 are bandit grunts, 2 are the engineer (like sapper that carry tools for breaching the gate)
since i find it weird for sword to be able to breach a thick gate...
unless they're using a ram
