Hi, was going through the FAQ recently and started thinking about what it says about how to go about things in the beginning to not get your ass kicked. and i started thinking about the friendly duel thing, all im really wondering about is: is this something that's still gonna be in the game, or is the only way of practicing your fighting skills in the finished game through actual fighting and training dummys? and if it still is going to be implemented: how soon would be realistic to expect it?

Actually this is something i would really like to see as well. Anyone know any of the details?
I personally think it's important to implement this in order to train armies. Maybe a training skill could be implmented and it would allow that character to train more characters at a time at certain iterations.. and of course faster. Maybe a training barracks? Idk. But essentially, this is not only important for future mechanics, but it would make the game more "realistic" as it is obviously used in the real world too. So who knows.
TL;DR - I'd like to see this too!

. It's important for future gameplay, and it's more realistic for bigger army play anyways.

my thoughts exactly.
personally, i think it shouldn't be a skill, but more like: you have one soldier that is quite experienced in fighting ( 40 def skill, 40 atk skill for example) and he can then use his experience to teach newbies how to fight.
still, it should be limited as to how much he can teach, for example: a guy with 40 in atk and def, can only teach people up to 20/20, and the rest they have to get from real combat.
again, i could go on and on and bloddy on about this, but if something like that is possible (or similar) that would be a freaking awesome element to an already awesome game!

Ability to kick your allies asses to increase your skills will be implemented.

Character becomes strong because they had about 100 duels with a friend, before ever going into battle. This sounds exactly like the beginning of the manga
Kingdom.

I wish I had more time for manga

There's so good manga out there but when I read manga, I can't read books. When I read books I can't play. When I play, I can't study. When I study, I can't do sports... Etc. Worst of all the 1. world problems ever

With the addition of cages you can spar. Ive setup a small enclosed area using walls and 1 door (you could use a building too), and put 6 cages in it. fill those with bandits. You can access their inventories and strip thier armor and give them the crappiest weapons. I will give them that large helmet ( cant remember what its called ), but it reduces their melee attack by a few points for fighting my weaker characters.
Then all you do is release them and either attack them to gain melee and blocking, or you can just set yourself to block and let he bandit attack you, boosting your ability. After you knock him out, throw him back in the cage and give him first aid. He heals and then repeat. I usually have a few bandits so there is always one ready to go.
I will usually have a good fighter/medic close to my training character in case things get out of hand for him. Later ill use a couple archers to ensure my trainees protection.
Keep in mind that you will also be training the bandit and his skills will increase.
