Hello,

Ever get tired of waiting for raids? Isn't it tedious hunting the desert down for people to fight? Well friends, have i a soultion for you, ARENAS!!

Its relay simple, just build a small rectangle of defensive walls around your base, and have a gate on one end. Make sure they are facing inwards. place some ramps on each side so that your squad can spectate.
Now all you need is some prison cages and prisoners, then BAM!! BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!!

This also has the bonus of being a secure place to store prisoners.

That's pretty cool! Have you tried caging for ex. bandits and ninjas in there and release them to see if they actually start fighting?

I built a much larger arena but faced some problems. First I built it to close to my industrial area so everyone lockpicked the gate as soon as an enemy as out of cage. The other problem was that my cages were lining the wall and prisoners appeared on top of the wall. Same might happen to your arena because the cages are right by the wall.

Im also trying to figure out what is the best arena gear... Im thinking weakest weapons and strongest armor for prolonged combat and shorter healing periods. Pity I cant build industrial 001 with weapon bench III....

Would also be nice if some type of combined cage/bed or cell would be added. So Enemies could be healed and imprisoned properly without micromanagment. Also maybe an option set behavior to capture, maybe even a job.

Edit: Also you will have to put all spectators on block only or disarm them or they will pick your gate.

I think the best idea for arena is to remove a piece of wall and rebuild it with the right ppl inside. If you could ramp both ways that would be a solution but i dont think u can.

Also, be sure to set your workers and spectators to blocks only or non-combat, so that way they don't crash the party.
