My first 24 hours playing this game.

The worst shit I have ever played. *Totally joking*

This game is truly badass. I am a gamer, RTS/RPGs and all the rest and I have been looking for a true sandbox game with the kind of following this game has, not a carebear mass production team trying to make a buck.

Even through the crashing, characters getting stuck in walls, ontop of walls and on high mountains unable to get down, still the most addicting game I have played since Darkfall. What really bothers me is that it isn't even the final product and missing (from what I have read) half of it's full implementation. Why does that bother little ole' me? Because I have two kids who need me daily and a job, Kenshi is getting in the way I tell you! My kids calls this the boring game. Damn CoD generation don't know shit about a good game. It is a lot of yummy goodness and I am so glad I paid 20 bucks for something that will last me a long time and not be spent on drinks at the pub.

I will be active in the community with reporting bugs(though everything I've encountered has been posted), feature suggestions and contributing monetarily.

Anyway, just saying hey to everyone. Digging the way everyone is sharing and discussing the game and not being elitish pricks, as well.

Cheers to Chris and his team (if he has one) for Kenshi.

Give some of us in this "CoD generation" a bit of credit

Welcome! It's nice to have new folks to discuss the game with!

No credit! No soup! Nothing.

I mean people that only play CoD and thinks its the only game out there. Whereas, being an Iraqi War Vet, BF3 is the ridiculously real to the point of scary.

So, I started my second game at rock bottom, I was expecting this to be uber difficult. I ran to Catan to find a massive battle between the DC Mercs and Police against Dust Bandits and Sand Ninjas. It seriously lasted the last 30 mins of running around the town fighting. Then, I started looting and money was flowing. Awesome!

Seriously... I thought I was doing well the first time I went out to buy blueprints and had 200k saved up... I ran out of money fast and had to repeat the trading for cash cycle a few times before I had them all... effin crazy. XD I hope hundreds more blueprints, patterns, and research lines are added by the time all is said and done... the scavenger hunt is almost a game in itself. :P

Welcome, btw. And thank you for your service. I hope you made it out more physically and mentally intact than many.

Baby steps man, I haven't even started building yet. I'm getting my little crew of misfits ready for combat. I'm on the fence about who I like more, the Nation or the Samurai.

To my next question, how come I haven't seen the Nation and UC fight at all? Or the Nation and DC fight? Has that not been implemented yet?

It has been implemented but they are not at war automatically at start. You'll get announcement if 2 big factions go to war but to my experience, it's quite rare. I'd like it to be more frequent.

And welcome

Only tends to happen when you take the Holy sword start ad get a squad of Holys to attack you close to a town. Never saw reports happening on other situations.

Well in the future will for sure see more of it, and you can edit that in the forgotten construction set, and should not be hard, dunno if you would need a new game after nor not tho.
