Its a little buggy, but dayum, some nice combat!

I got 17 experienced guys; I normally keep them in light armor with light katanas for fun; had to go back to my fragment axes and ringed sabers and put a couple in heavy armor.

I think we all know if the Hungry bandits (0.62.0) talk about a food run you gotta attack them before the leader says "go get the food."

I don't have walls; nevertheless, those Dust Bandits stood out there forever yelling for me to "come out."

I found some "Good" quality armor on a Dust Bandit Leader.

Yes, it's pretty buggy right now but I hope a fix doesn't come until Monday at least because I am getting a good RP chapter out of the chaos. :D

I found they start really really zerg like (plus i'm using Neko's mod so...), but after killing a few hundreds of them wave after wave it eventually dropped significantly, so i assume it's still affected by "population decay".

Since i didn't start my base before i had a squad of 6 really good warriors (starting character was at ~50 fighting skills) it was a challenge but not impossible.
Very satisfying in the end.

It may need to be tweaked but on the other hand, what would you expect, starting to grow plentifull field of foods as a peasant that never killed but a mosquito in his life, in a world of sand where everybody is starving for food and water.

I had lots of time to play yesterday. The zergs kind of came and went for me... I'd have plenty of time to go train lockpicking, make some resources, then it'd be a string of bandit attacks again.

I had a lone female cannibal walk into town calm as you please, put on some pants that were lying around, pick up a corpse and go trotting off into the desert. Honestly, I hope she brings her friends back for more. These piles of rotting corpses can't be healthy.

The spawning definitely needs some tweaking. Right now, my nice little town is under constant siege by dust bandits: taking down one group isn't too hard, but it doesn't take much longer than 5 minutes, and the next group appears in front of my main gate. That's a tad annoying, if you ask me ;)

Well, thanks ... 'though Kenshi update server is down. At least my version shows me this error:

"Error trying to save file: Error downloading "http://www.kenshiupdate.com/wyupdate/wyserver.wys"

I envy you guys. I havn't been attacked once. My new base is built near the cannibals so i can raid and get some combat in. HOWEVER, i have yet to be visited by traders OR bandits.

I think the bandit attacks got dialed WAY down. Sadness. I understand, though; it was kind of excessive if you didn't have a large, experienced, well-equipped squad all ready.

I hate splitting my squad, though, and I don't want bandits to walk off with all my building materials and iron bars. So I'm kind of stuck...

How's the wandering bandits 'n cannibals nowadays?
