Some people like massive armies and others like to take on the world with only a select few, so what makes your squad successful?

Yeah, different styles for different scenarios. Too many weak people and then it will take longer to upgrade.

It's just a tad bit early for this.
But currently I feel that a squad of 7(coincidence)does best. I've had up to 14, but it's too many for the game in it's current stage, you far outnumber any other squad that you find and it's too cluttered.
Otherwise, 2 katanas(Toppers), 2 sabres(Horse Choppers), and 3 heavy weapons(2 fragment axe and 1 plank).

Yeah I have 16 members and they do out number most bandits. I probably will be traveling with less people.

Pack mules, that is what I considered my newbies until they obtained xp.

Traders backpack. 4X your inventory size and everything stacks up to 10X.toaster Assassin wrote:Pack mules, that is what I considered my newbies until they obtained xp.

Due to my teams low funds (I restarted so I am now down to five, will get more) I have only three trader backpacks in which the newbies carry.Trader backpacks are relatively cheap (500 cats is it?) but after I restarted I did not play much (college work
) ,but I am going to try that trading idea you mentioned earlier ( I need me more planks).
