You have probably used the in-game editor (shift+F12). This symbol shows the center of a town - in this case yours.

That in-game editor can cause some problems. Your town may change ownership, and it may also now be saved to the map data, instead of the save game data. Meaning that town may now be present in all of your games, even new ones. To fix, you can delete the data folder (NOT THE SAVE FOLDER) and then re-validate through steam.

Yeah that cause a problem but not big.
you can save it & wisely you also can delete if you don't need.
