i'm playing the 0.68 experimental, and i love it. The new gates are very long to repair, 3 engeneers with about 80 skill each use up to 20 real time minutes, while a dozen bandits use 20 seconds to break it. I love the fact that now my base gets attacked every ingame day, but this way i have to continuously use my 3 best engenners to repair the gate.

Also i have to leave it opened, if i close the gate while inside the base all my team AI get mad an they start running everywhere, and when i go away from base if i close the gate behind the team runs back to open it.

I already know that the pathfinding is going to be fixed, i would also suggest to tweak gate repair time a little bit.

If it wasn't for realism, i would completly wall me inside the base, then when need to leave i would delete a wall section, and rebuild it when i come back (the base is open anyway when i'm outside).

BTW, grats for 0.68, in my opinion is going in the right direction.

Yes, gate and door repair time is pretty ridiculous. Either make them much harder to destroy or significantly decrease the time it takes to repair. The way it is now, it almost makes having gates not worth the effort.

they are a bit on the long side for repairs.
but. i would say keep it that way but up how much damage they can take. the time it takes to break them should take longer than it does to repair them. in game theory.
Do you believe the sexes should be equal?
Oh heavens no.
Then Men would become unmanageable
