Individual characters aready have their own skills and other data, how about some names to go with them? i wouldnt mind being able to hunt down that specific police officer that killed my partner in crime, or KOing a bandit when he was weak and running into him again later when hes turned into some sort of super warrior.

Would be cool but might be a pig to create a large enough database of reasonable names so you don't keep bumping into someone with the same name as 800 other NPCS.

Chris just can ask us to do it. That is sort of thing which everyone can do.

Well, around 500 names and second names. And it will be around 250 000 combinations.

Looks good. How would you be able to tell what they are? Because you dont really get much space in those boxes.

After adding stuff to the game and making it worthy of minecraft-buyers' gold...Money, Chris might fix the name area a bit.

And a reply to the "Can the entire forum do this?" and "It will be a pain to impliment" :
We can just create one large thread full of names from Japanese to Arabic to slang to Slurs and insults and then Chris would copy and paste them into his box of wonders(Stay with me).

In the long run Chris wants the game world to be created anew each time we start a new game, with the thread of a zillion names the game looks into its database and rolls a dice for each name and picks the winners(Or pick the first 10,000 like The Sims 2 and only create[pick] new ones when the old ones are dead or have become old and grandparents which is also like The Sims 2)

If what I've described above becomes true*, you'll be able to go to his house and have dinner with his family, watching him tell his wife to send the kids to their beds and lock the door behind him as he steps outside and you guys duel while your faction members cheer on you and taunt the cop.

*Was that a correct sentence?Felt odd to me.

i dont like the idea about having people write the names in a thread, cause some names wouldn't suit the game-world (fighting james lol duh Mcfishigane would hurt my mind and my game experience)
A lot of people would try to sneak their name into the game too (Samurai Smith Johnson... )

that's why i thought using the wiki-list of known real samurai names (see my post above) would be a better idea in that matter

i always thought it was: if it comes true.. (not becomes)

Maybe if we just make lists of Different nationality names. Like the name generation for the first X-COM game (from 1994).

To avoid immersion-breaking (Forced end to willing suspension of disbelief) that could work, and in game it might be in the form of many options which you get after right clicking on the new-game(An example button, this maybe implemented or ignored).

*Right click* ~Set new game options -> Name generator to use - currently: default (Change to "real" names and place a plus-sign next to "append HIPPO(Or your provided thing) in front of every name and faction object" ) ~

***That "set new game options" bit can be used for better testing if the God Mode mod is updated and Chris adds them to the game, turn on hardcore mode and make the game as painful/cpu-devouring as possible and let your Super character test Kenshi again, and again and again... The game will be as bug free as Ultimate Edition 3.0
