I found some a while back and bought one for my main character. Now that I have a bit of money I am trying to buy some for the rest of my party. Where can I find a good hat dealer? Every town I check has no hats in it and none of the enemies around the map seem to have them either.

Anyone able to help?

I bought all of my hats from the hat vendor in brink, he is located near the back of the town, if that helps.

Very helpful, thank you. All my team are now proud owners of new hats.

Been a gradual process for me, buying new stuff when i loot the bodies of the bandits. Hardly worth the effort really. The real money came when i went to the little outpost north-west of Clownsteady. There are 2 guards and a shopkeeper. Kill them and then loot the shopkeepers backpack. Take that back to clownsteady and sell all the things inside it. Should get you about 50K.

Of course most of my money I just got from looting. Almost all of my equipment was bought the hard way. In the end though the shopkeepers run out of space to hold the stuff you sell them.

He should be there. Look on the map. Its a little yellow circle without a name. Sometimes guys don't spawn correctly. Try saving and reloading if that works. North-west. (up and left). Its not so far, about a minute at 3x speed running.

Trading is very profitable, if you don't mind travelling from town to town.

if you want good cash why dont you take 18 men and go attack a town like brink for example kill everyone take all their stuff save, then exit, start up, New Game and Import Squad, and then sell the loot back to the shopkeepers in the town. massive money involved there

That's actually an exploit which will hopefully be phased out or be made painfully difficult.

Thats also more difficult for a newer character. I suggested that, but on a 'lite' mode. The little trading outpost only has 2 guards whereas brink has quite a few more and it doesn't give 10 times more payout.
