I've got a character with 77 strength. I overloaded his inventory, and made him haul ore from the automated mine to the refinery, which is a short walk. Will he gain strength overtime? Or do I need to make him walk across the desert?
Thanks in advance

long as the weight goes over there limit
then yes.
distance doesnt matter. its time you have full weight while walking.

though i do tend to make my mines and production areas far from each other to force them to carry for longer times and to give the mines time to fill up between hauling.

more over the weight the better chnace of leveling.
though once you start getting up into the higher levels its gonna take a while.
my other trick is to make lvl 5 heavy Clubs and put them into the open invintory ( not the backpack ) sicen they weight a ton it will add to your strength training.
just 3 can set your weight to 260kg which is ussualy good enough to train nearly anyone who isnt high level in strength

This is a total easy understanding. I have my raiding squad and they are fast. I train them by picking up other squad and have them rally up and down a mountain.

Wait, does terrain affects gaining strength ? I would got more bonus from a mountain walk than across desert plains ??

Just to be sure ...

Negative, terrain, and weather for that matter, have no effect on Strength gain as of yet.

Although, I can imagine something like this appearing as a Request whenever Fatigue and Weather are implemented, perhaps?
