So i;ve noticed that some Mercenaries, Samurais, etc. were missing armor and never had their armour replaced and was wondering if there was any way to implement a storage facility for these faction that defend cities so they can resupply and not walk around naked.

missing Armour is usually a bug. or they had Armour stolen off them.
try importing into a new game.

If they did have their armour stolen then wouldnt it make sense for the city to have extra armour available to them? If it's a bug then it's a bug, but if it's gameplay mechanics, then there should exist a method to offset this stealing of gaurd armor. Thanks for the suggestion btw, it worked.

well, that is a great idea, the town's armory, put it right next to the police headquarter...

btw, a bit of topic, will they change the Police faction into something else ? like a city guard maybe, say Catun City Guard, better than the current Police concept... I prefer if each city have their own guards, instead of a generalized faction like Police. Why ? because if i pillage Holy Nation city, and in the process fought a police there because of the bounty, why would i be chased around in United Cities' police when they're clearly at war (are they ?)

The bounty should also represent faction bounty, say, the United Cities is friendly towards me, but the Holy Nation hate me and put a bounty on me, this should not make me a wanted man in United Cities.
idk, it's only my opinion though..

I agree with this 100%. It makes no sense for the police of various factions to be the same generic "police" faction. Unless they are technically a 3rd party group hired to do police work for those factions.

Also, I'm not sure the Holy Nation actually has any police in their towns. When I played an outlaw I never saw any anyway, so they were the safe towns.

And yes, at least according to the FCS, the Holy Nation and the United Cities are at war. They're also at war with Dead Cat. But Dead Cat and United Cities are neutral. Actually now that I think about it, Holy Nation and Police are neutral, whereas United Cities and Dead Cat are allied with them. So they might actually be a 3rd party faction, it would also explain the headquarters out in the middle of nowhere.

Well, to continue on the off-topic thing

If the police is a faction, what's the background of them ? i mean, from who do they get paid ? charity ? the factions ?
they seem to be wealthy (of course! they give me 2500 cats every time i hand them sand ninja jounin)

i prefer for it to be town's guard because it's logical to think that the traders and the city owner will pay people to guard the city from bandits or wild animals. And it's weird if a faction is hired by a warring factions to guard their city, if the police faction work for the factions.

Logically, if we think about the holy nation and the united cities, their army's main concern is for war, not for policing their city. Thus, it is logical to think they'll employ guards.
And like what i've said before, it'll make the bounty coordination become more realistic.
Say, if im friendly with the samurais, but hostile towards the dead cat, and when i try to attack the dead cat "unprovoked" near a patrolling police, i'll get a bounty (right ?)
and when i try to go to united cities, the police will chase me.
but hey, im in friendly territory right ?!

that's why i want a different faction that guard the cities, or better to put them as part of the city's faction instead of a separate faction ;)

PS: Dear Hatsune Neko, please dont ban me from making an off-topic reply :?

Dude, just make a new topic and voice your concerns for the lore of the factions.

Back on topic though, I think having stable economies or loot spawns for faction towns should be a priority. We may be exporting saves between each update, but that's no excuse for not having a long-term play through viable at this stage. Continuity for the AI should be important, as players will be constantly interacting with them.

well the gaurd probh got his armour stolen, so instead of importing again he might just steal another armour piece or wait till he is down then give him 1 :p.

About the police... maybe the other factions pays the police or the factions lease them equipment/HQ in order to keep the general peace vs bandits. So there independent but working with factions to lock up the criminals. Then they might resell them to slavers :p. Or keep em locked up for a monthly fee payed by the person who placed the bounty on the criminals head :).
