Lo-Fi Games

I launched a raid on the trading post north of Clowntown. After murdering several caravan guards in front and killing the few shop guards. I proceeded to rob the shop keeper, After looting all his trade goods i realized he had 50,000 kats. Only 1 problem i couldn't find a way to take them from him.

Anyone know how to loot money?

As far as i know there is no way to steal money yet, it's just here to value tradings and has no "physical" place in the world yet, it's just a number.

What you can do is go to a friendly trader (so you can trade) and sell him stuff to get all his money (stuff that you can acquire by first pillaging an enemy city for example, trader stealing being the most lucrative activity i found so far, I personally favor cloths trader as blackened mail shirts takes little place, stacks well and are very expensive thus offering the best value per slot ratio afaik) then after you got all his money, you attack him too and take back your stuff plus his, then move to another town and repeat. If you feel too many towns got sacked because of your actions just start a new game and import your squad and start the process again. You can get immensely rich in no time using this little trick.

Be aware though that given the few things that one can do/enjoy in the game in its current state, doing so will most likely kill all the fun once you get all the best gear and huge wealth in your backpacks. What would you do with all this money anyways, at some point you get way more money than you can spend given how rare good gear are. Unless you buy every single thing everywhere.
