Here's a small fix.

What it does:

* Adds a darker type of sand under certain objects, makes the landscape look a bit more varied and more natural looking. This feature is actually already in the new update but is not noticable until you run the added deletecache.bat file.

* Makes the cliffs a bit darker. Before this latest update the game had a lightning bug which in turn made me turn the brightness up really high for this particular texture.

Just drag/drop the content in the archive to ..\Steam\steamapps\common\Kenshi. You should overwrite when it asks, and run the added deletecache.bat file (in ..\Steam\steamapps\common\Kenshi) afterwards.

I'll use this thread from now on to add fixes that might not make it into the patch or is not added correctly or is just forgotten etc.

Looks pretty good.

So, the Cliffs01.dds file is the one already in the patch and you just need to run the deletecache.bat? I downloaded both but just wondered if I only needed to download and run the .bat file.

No, like it says :) "Just drag/drop the content in the archive to ..\Steam\steamapps\common\Kenshi. You should overwrite when it asks, and run the added deletecache.bat file afterwards."

I've added 1 new (updated) texture + the .bat file that you need to run to make the new sand visible.

OK, sorry.
This feature is actually already in the new update but is not noticable until you run the added deletecache.bat file in ..\Steam\steamapps\common\Kenshi
I just thought that meant the (kenshi)update included the Cliffs01.dds file. Thanks for the clarification. :D

It looks way nicer.. but the cliffs.01 is in kenshi/data/land/textures

..in kenshi folder is nothing to overwrite.. :)

In the main folder there's nothing to overwrite, but in land/textures you should overwrite the cliff texture.
