Yes, C4D supports OGRE, through a plugin of course. I/OGRE I think it's called.

whats the licensing cost/fee? cuz 3ds max is limited in that it has no support for ORGE so that kinda makes it useless.

Think it's crazy that it took me literally 3 seconds to find this.

Deadly Dragons dude? If so, wow, hello! DD was a must for me to enjoy skyrim...Except the armors, those were kinda meh...No offense! Look forward to this mod, I'd much prefer star wars slapped over it then the pseudo post apocalyptic japan thing. Mechanical direction of this game is awesome, of course.

Cheers,

Ah damn, I didn't notice that, why not use Blender for the importing then? I sometimes have to use Blender for converting files, it's painful but it's free, the licence for C4D is far too costly for simply using as an import/export program.

If you mean me, no not Deadly Dragons, I only publicly released a half dozen small mods for Skyrim, a couple small mods for Oblivion and was part of a team for a pretty large mod for Morrowind. The bigger mod I'm doing for Skyrim was originally for Morrowind, then Oblivion, now called Skyfi, not released yet though as it's still being worked on, doing this mod and a few other little ones for other games for a while because I'm getting sick of the Creation Kit for Skyrim.

And a minor update, moving house over the next month so I will have next to no time to work on the mod or any others, so expect slow responses and a lack of updates till that's all done.

Well I couldn't wait any longer so I just started messing around with blender and I've finally gotten to the point where I can get a file in game and textured. This is my first attempt at modding, by the way so I needs help. I got a textured saber into the game as a usable weapon, however, I don't know how to make the lightsaber glow in ogre. If anyone has any insight on how to do this please let me know, I need the help :) I have added a new sith faction as well with roaming squads with very powerful sith lords and warriors. Tomorrow I'll probably add different colored sabers and a jedi faction. At some point I'd like to add a Lightsaber weapon skill and a mitichlorian count attribute that is randomly assigned when a character or npc is generated. Anyways, very excited to try my hand at some armor modding now.

First of all, either remove the images or make them much smaller so they fit in the column, it looks horrible on the page layout.

And yeah that's about as far as I can get, I'm stuck with several things though, making the laser part of the lightsaber disappear when sheathed, showing glow, and also the model for the laser is different, I used 6 flat planes at even angles so when I figure out how to get an alpha channel working it doesn't just look like a solid bar of colour. As I have already said, I will make a tutorial for all of this when I figure it out myself.

Hows the lightsaber going? Have you considered asking Chris and his beard for some advice on getting alpha channels to show? I'm at my whits end as well.

Yes the mod is still being worked on, I'm currently between homes so I don't have access to my own computer at the moment and can't work on it because of that.

Not dead, simply on hold till I can afford to fix my computer, since THAT has been dead since February this year.

I'll just make testing a public pre-release haha, why restrict it when I can just get a more comprehensive feedback from more people? I still haven't got my own computer fixed but I've been able to use a friends on a semi-regular basis. Seeing the direction of the game I'm thinking I'll leave it till more has been completed before diving in but till then I can continue with building up a collection of models to use, I'll be making small modules once I've got all the models I'll need but with the amount of time I have on good enough computers at the moment I wont be able to make fast progress there.
