Need a steam workshop mod for a gog user

Hello,
I own kenshi on GOG and i would like to play with a mod but sadly it is only on the steam workshop
I create a steam account to ask the creator if he can post his mod on the nexus but i need to spend 5$ to post messages...
Please, is there a kind person with a steam account can download the files for me and/or ask the creator to post the mod on the nexus ?

I sent Nanogiraffe a message on Steam alerting him to your request for a Nexus version, and he seems to have now gone ahead and uploaded it there for you.

It's foolish, i can't contact modders if i find an other cool mod on steam...

From what I'm reading, you need Steam Guard enabled on your account to post comments on Steam. Since you just created the account, I'd guess you probably haven't done that yet.

well you might wanna contact steam support over it.
or we could just be missing something so simple as to be ludicrous. like maybe needing to have the game on steam or something silly like that.
