Lo-Fi Games

I recently tested the game name generation and I find that the names are lack and there would be nice if had more variations.
I decided to make some new name to the table hopefully won't break the game what you play but I suggest you to save the original names from the data to a "saved or safe" zone inside the game library.

Also I wish to contribute these names to the developers so they don't have to make a lot of new names.

In this name pack may be not all name added which exist in real life and there are some randomly created name also so keep in mind this is a simple name list so you don't have to rename your characters if you like the names. It is not mean you cannot rename them any time when you recruit a person but at least now the name pool is larger than the original.

Awesome, more names is always good! Seen too much 'bland''s and 'skinner''s and 'patch'' es..

Just a small request to the devs, could you make it so that adding the various names-textfiles to a mod does add the names,
instead of overwrites them.
To make it entirely neat, add a check for duplicates at the end..

Then everybody can chip in and think of a few names to add easily..

Isn't adding names as simple as writing some more into the text files? I mean, just copy the existing name files, add some more and add the resulting file to a mod. IT should then be X of standart names + Y of added names, no?

Well, I believe it just takes the modded-files as THE names-lists, and overwrites the other ones [or default one].
Tested this with a file for male-names [in a mod] where I put in only one name and all the male-characters now were called that..

So, the last loaded file replaces all the others [+ base names], better to have them add to the data-list the game uses.
And remove all the duplicates.

So, if you'd have 10 people all making names-lists [and updating at times perhaps], it can be easily included.
I mean, that's 2 lines of code probably and saves us the hassle of manually updating the lists.. Can't see any downside to it as well..

Additional names coming if you downloaded the names then I suggest to redownload it or just simply copy the additional names "all" and paste to your name list.

I have no problem using the expanded name lists and it seems it keep all of it in every game so it works well for me.

If you find some name which in your mother tongue means something bad then avoid that name or just delete from the list.
